WGS Faculty, TFs Win Teaching Honors

Seven members of WGS's instructional staff have received Spring 2016 teaching certificates from Harvard's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning. Certificate recipients achieve an overall rating of 4.50 or above on the 5-point course evaluation scale, with 5 or more responses.

Teaching Fellows Leena Akhtar (ETHRSON 42, Sexual Ethics as Ethical Reasoning), Julia Reed (WOMGEN 1127, Beyond the Sound Bite: Women, Gender, and Sexuality in The Daily News), and Leigh Senderowicz (WOMGEN 1272, Global Reproductive Health) received Certificates of Distinction in Teaching. Lecturers Madina Agénor (WOMGEN 1272, Global Reproductive Health), Linda Schlossberg (WOMGEN 97, Sophomore Tutorial), Kate Stanton (WOMEN 1210ft, Postolonial Feminist Theory), and Jenna Tonn (WOMGEN 1257, Gender, Biology, and the Body) received Certificates of Teaching Excellence.

In addition, several members of the WGS graduate tutorial board received Certificates of Distinction in Teaching for classes in other disciplines: Ceylan ArslanAmy FishAnna Neumann, and Joelle Tapas.
