 **WGS Professor [Michael Bronski](/people/michael-bronski)** will moderate a panel discussion titled "*Gay Community News* at 50: *GCN*'s Impact & Legacy" at the Massachusetts Historical Society on **Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 6:00-7:00pm**.

 When *Gay Community News* officially ceased publication in the 1990s, it was the oldest, continuously published national gay news

paper. This panel will explore the impact *GCN* had and continues to have on LGBTQ+ writing, news coverage, and activism.
