This month’s workshop will discuss work by Elizabeth Jemison and Mara Block. Elizabeth Jemison will be presenting a dissertation chapter titled "Churches and the 'Negro Problem' Under a New Regime, 1882-1890," and Mara Block is sharing, "Sexual Reformations: Shifting Medical Therapies and Their Pastoral Appropriations."

Ceyhun Arslan will be organizing dinner this month, so email him at [carslan@fas.harvard.edu](mailto:///carslan@fas.harvard.edu) to RSVP and to request copies of the pre-circulated papers.

The workshop is held in the basement of Boylston Hall in the WGS Seminar Room. If the door that leads directly to the basement is locked, please go through the main Boylston entrance, turn right, and take the stairs down to the basement.
