WGS presents a conversation with **Professor Jung Ja Choi** about her path-breaking new book on Kim Myŏng-sun, outspoken writer and change-maker.Monday, April 3rd, 3:00-4:00pm in the WGS Lounge (Boylston Hall, ground floor). Refreshments included!

Jung Ja Choi received her PhD from Harvard’s East Asian Languages and Culture Department and teaches courses in WGS and Asian and Asian American studies. Her course “Sexing Korea: Gender and Sexuality in Korean Pop Culture” was featured by *ELLE Magazine* as # 5 on their list of “63 College Classes That Give Us Hope for the Next Generation.” Professor Choi’s new book, *The Life and Works of Korean Poet Kim Myŏng-sun: The Flower Dream of a Woman Born Too Soon* (Routledge, 2023) traces the life of a woman ahead of her time.
