Pan-Harvard LGBTQ Town Hall

Date:

Friday, March 3, 2017, 3:00pm to 5:30pm

Location:

Fong Auditorium and Ticknor Lounge, Boylston Hall, 5 Harvard Yard, Cambridge, MA 02138

The purpose of this event is to bring people from across the Harvard community together to discuss concerns, identify needs, and to pool knowledge and resources.  Faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, and all other affiliates are welcome!

The event will start with a town hall style discussion moderated by faculty members Latanya Sweeney, Steph Burt, and Timothy McCarthy.  Following the discussion, attendees will be invited to join breakout groups whose purpose is to bring people from across the Harvard community together around particular issues. Then, everyone will reconvene briefly as a group, and the event will end with a reception.

Please RSVP at this link: https://goo.gl/forms/K8O5wtr0fqNhNyyC3, to let the organizers know you are coming and to tell them about the issues that interest or concern you most.  If you are interested in facilitating one of the breakout groups, email akhtar@fas.harvard.edu.

Please note that this will be an LGBTQ space.  Allies who work with or advocate for LGBTQ populations on campus are welcome, but are asked to arrange their attendance beforehand with the organizer.
