**This event has been rescheduled from Thursday, March 18 to Thursday, March 23.
Please join us on the new date.**

We’ll kickstart the meeting with some great music videos from [Janelle Monáe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uovntV3ZMDc), [Lizzo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuq-VAiW9kw), and [Meet Me @ The Altar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSFWTNbuteQ), which feature Black women exhibiting joy and pleasure. The conversation will focus on how and why Black female joy, pleasure, and victory is such a revolutionary and powerful thing to depict in media, and how it inflects current conversations surrounding race, sex, victimhood, agency, and representation.

Join us for an hour of good music, good conversation, and good community centered on the freedom to smile.
