#  Alice Jardine Book Named 2021 Outstanding Academic Title

 Professor [Alice Jardine's](/people/alice-jardine) book, *[At the Risk of Thinking: An Intellectual Biography of Julia Kristeva](https://www.bloomsbury.com/us/at-the-risk-of-thinking-9781501341366/)*, has been named one of [Choice Magazine's Outstanding Academic Titles](https://www.choice360.org/choice-pick/choice-outstanding-academic-titles/). This annual award honors "the best in scholarly titles, both print and digital, reviewed by Choice during the previous year." This volume had previously been selected as as a finalist in the Association of American Publishers (AAP) 45th annual [Professional and Scholarly Excellence (PROSE) Awards](https://publishers.org/news/association-of-american-publishers-announces-finalists-for-2021-prose-awards/) competition in the Biography & Autobiography category.
