 WGS Professor Durba Mitra's book, [*Indian Sex Life: Sexuality and the Colonial Origins of Modern Social Thought*](https://press.princeton.edu/books/paperback/9780691196350/indian-sex-life), has received honorable mention for the J[. Willard Hurst Book Prize](https://www.lawandsociety.org/2021/05/18/lsa-2021-annual-awards-announced/) from the Law & Society Association. The Hurst Prize is awarded annually for the best sociolegal history book.
