The [Syndicate](https://syndicate.network/symposia/literature/indian-sex-life/), an online site for discussion of recent books in the humanities, recently released [an online symposium](https://syndicate.network/symposia/literature/indian-sex-life/) on [Professor Durba Mitra's](/people/durba-mitra) book, [Indian Sex Life: Sexuality and the Colonial Origins of Modern Social Thought](https://press.princeton.edu/books/paperback/9780691196350/indian-sex-life) (Princeton University Press, 2020). The symposium was curated and edited by WGS alumna Jennifer C. Nash, with essays on the book by Professors Kaneesha Parsard, Jyoti Puri, Samantha Pinto, and Srirupa Prasad and with responses from Mitra, who called the symposium "a lifeline of feminist thinking across fields in a time of ongoing pandemic loss and uncertainty."

Please join WGS in congratulating Professor Mitra on her book being chosen for this online discussion!
