The *Harvard Gazette* recently ran an [article on faculty whose courses are creatively engaging with pressing issues](https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/07/a-semester-of-creative-curriculums-at-harvard/) – COVID, racism, the election – this fall. Featured among them is WGS professor [Phyllis Thompson](/people/phyllis-thompson), whose course, “Domestic Witness: ‘At Home’ for Better or Worse” will help students explore how our notions of home shape our responses to being isolated at home during the pandemic and how the pandemic is reshaping our notions of home.
