#  Durba Mitra's Book Receives Cohn Prize

 [Professor Durba Mitra's](/people/durba-mitra) book, *[Indian Sex Life: Sexuality and the Colonial Origins of Modern Social Thought](https://press.princeton.edu/books/hardcover/9780691196343/indian-sex-life)*, has been awarded the the [Bernard S. Cohn Book Prize](https://www.asianstudies.org/aas-2022-prizes/) by the [Association for Asian Studies](https://www.asianstudies.org/aas-2022-prizes/). This prize honors "outstanding and innovative scholarship across discipline and country of specialization for a first single-authored monograph on South Asia."
