#  Professors Mitra & Perry Participate in Harvard's Presidential Inauguration

 Among the events happening during the Inauguration of Claudine Gay on **Friday, September 29, 2023**, is an Academic Symposium consisting of six concurrent sessions highlighting opportunities and challenges facing Harvard, the academy, and the world at large. Two WGS professors will participate on two panels: [Professor Imani Perry](/people/imani-perry-0?admin_panel=1) will be a panelist on Panel #1 - Challenging Inequality in the US: New Ideas and Approaches; and [Professor Durba Mitra](/people/durba-mitra) will be a panelist on Panel #5 - Looking Ahead: The Future of the Academy. Admission to the Academic Symposium is limited to Harvard ID holders, invited guests, and registered delegates.
