WGS Senior Chloë LeStage whose thesis research focused on prison doulas, hopes that her work brings awareness to this growing profession. After completing her work with prison doulas, she now hopes to join their ranks herself. “I want to be in the birth justice world and the reproductive justice world and being a prison doula, I think, is one way to do that,” LeStage said. Working with pregnant inmates, *the Harvard Gazette* says, will allow her to work at the intersection of systems of health care, incarceration, equity, and social justice.
