Dissertation topic/title: I study ecological thinking and practices of regeneration in the Anthropocene through the perspectives of Indigenous and Afro-Brazilian epistemologies.

Research methods: interviews/oral history, textual analysis, ethnography, literary criticism, and media (film and audio).

Areas of interest: postcolonial studies, post-structuralism, ecological thinking, anthropology, ecofeminism, Indigenous and Afro-Brazilian material cultures.
