Ms. Argento’s work as an activist and a voice for women, minorities and queer communities has been central to her work. Most recently, in October 2017, Ms. Argento was the first to agree to go on the record with The New Yorker to document sexual assaults she and other women received from film producers now facing prosecution in multiple U.S. states. In the following months, Ms. Argento has been the keynote speaker at the 2018 Women’s March and the International Women’s Day in Rome, Italy, and has interviewed other sexual assault survivors for major newspapers.

After a short introduction, Ms. Argento will take questions from the audience. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Alex Medico More, (History Dept., Harvard).

Sponsored by the Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard, the Women And Public Policy Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response at Harvard, One Queer Harvard, and by the Committee on Degrees in Studies of Women, Gender and Sexuality.
