Professor Alice Jardine's book, At the Risk of Thinking: An Intellectual Biography of Julia Kristeva, has been named one of Choice Magazine's Outstanding Academic Titles. This annual award honors "the best in scholarly titles, both print and digital, reviewed by Choice during the previous year." This volume had previously been selected as as a finalist in the Association of American Publishers (AAP) 45th annual Professional and Scholarly Excellence (PROSE) Awards competition in the Biography & Autobiography category.
