Durba Mitra Publishes Article in Signs

Professor Durba Mitra has published a new research article, "The Report, or, Whatever Happened to Third World Feminist Theory?" in the most recent issue of the leading feminist journal, Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society. In "The Report," Professor Mitra critically analyzes the rise of the social science report, which serves the primary genre of research in a multinational knowledge industry of research on women, gender, and sexuality around the world. The essay features research from Professor Mitra's book, The Future That Was, under contract with Princeton University Press.
