WGS professor Durba Mitra has been selected as a 2019-2020 recipient of the Star Family Prize for Excellence in Faculty Advising. The Star Family Prizes for Excellence in Advising "recognize and reward individuals who contribute to the College through their exemplary intellectual and personal guidance of undergraduate students." In addition to the Star Prize, Mitra has also received the Roslyn Abramson Award for Excellence in Teaching and was recently lauded by students for her innovate digital teaching in the Gold Star Teaching Moves blog. Please join us in congratulating Professor Mitra on this recognition of her high-quality teaching and advising.
