WGS Professor Durba Mitra's book, Indian Sex Life: Sexuality and the Colonial Origins of Modern Social Thought, has received honorable mention for the J. Willard Hurst Book Prize from the Law & Society Association. The Hurst Prize is awarded annually for the best sociolegal history book.
