Marya Mtshali to Offer Inclusive Pedagogy Workshop

WGS faculty member and Bok Faculty Fellow Professor Marya Mtshali will be offering a series of case study-based discussions as part of Inclusive Teaching Week at the Bok Center.   Mtshali has taught courses on Interracial Intimacy: Sex, Race, and Romance in the U.S. and Gender, Race, and Poverty in the United States for WGS. Next year she will be a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Technology and Social Change Project at the Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center. She is currently working on her book, Gray Matter: Racialized Heteronormativies in the World of Black-White Interracial Couples.
