The 2018-19 Matthiessen Visiting Professor in Sexuality Studies, Omi Tinsley, was featured in a profile on the website Broadly. The piece discusses her new book, Beyoncé in Formation: Remixing Black Feminism, and her course Beyoncé Feminism, Rihanna Womanism, which she originated at University of Texas at Austin and taught while visiting at Harvard this fall.

Professor Tinsley's Harvard residence continues this spring, when she will teach two more courses: Femme Theory: An Introduction to the Critical Study of Queer Femininities (WOMGEN 1210gt) and The Postcolonial Amazonian: Corporality, Gender, and Sexuality in Caribbean Literature (WOMGEN 1291).
