Michael Bronski’s Book is Lammy Finalist
Professor Michael Bronski’s most recent book, Considering Hate: Violence, Goodness, and Justice in American Culture and Politics (co-authored with Kay Whitlock), has been named a Lambda Literary Award (“Lammy”) finalist in the LGBT Nonfiction category.

A Queer History of the United States received the 2012 LGBT Nonfiction prize, and Pulp Friction: Uncovering the Golden Age of Gay Male Pulps and Taking Liberties: Gay Men’s Essays on Politics, Culture and Sex won the prize for best anthology in 2004 and 1997 respectively. The 28th Annual Lambda Literary Awards ceremony will be held in New York on Monday, June 6.
