WGS professor Michael Bronski's essay, "Brigid Brophy’s Paradoxical World of Childhood" has been published in a new, critical book about Brigid Brophy, a novelist, critic, and social reformer. The book, Brigid Brophy: Avant-Garde Writer, Critic, Activist (Edinburgh University Press, 2020, ed. Canning & Kimber) explores all aspects of Brophy’s eclectic career, alongside contributions on animal rights, vegetarianism, anti-vivisectionism, humanism, feminism and sexual politics.
