Professor Caroline Light has published a new essay on her HPHR blog, In The Crosshairs. The essay is part of a series discussing "legal cases in which women or transgender people used guns to defend themselves against their abusers and [deciphering] the different ways in which states adjudicate self-defense cases involving domestic or intimate partner violence."
Caroline Light is the author of Stand Your Ground: A History of America’s L+ove Affair with Lethal Self-Defense (Beacon Press, 2017). Her blog, In the Crosshairs, appears on the website of the School of Public Health's HPHR Journal.
