Two WGS concentrators, Sai Shanthanand S. Rajagopal (’20) and Constance M. Bourguignon ('20), are among the seven Harvard seniors to win  Rhodes Scholarships for study at Oxford University in the UK.  Rajagopal (’20) is a joint concentrator in Biomedical Engineering and WGS, and Bourguignon ('20) is a joint concentrator in Romance Languages and Literature and WGS. 

According to an article in the Harvard Crimson, Rajagopal plans to use their time at Oxford for continued research on transgender people in South India, a project that began with their WGS Senior Thesis. The Harvard Gazette reports that Bourguignon plans to study education, with future plans to "inject a social justice mindfulness into the curriculum."
