WGS Affiliates Awarded Star Family Advising Prizes

WGS affiliates Kirin Gupta, Professor Jane Kamensky, and Professor Nicole Noll have each been awarded the Star Family Prize for Excellence in Advising. Ths award serves to "recognize and reward individuals who contribute to the College through their exemplary intellectual and personal guidance of undergraduate students."

History PhD candidate Kirin Gupta is the WGS departmental writing fellow and TFs in both our Junior and Senior tutorials; WGS Standng Committee member Jane Kamensky is the Jonathan Trumbull Professor of American History and the Pforzheimer Foundation Director of the Schlesinger Library; and Nicole Noll is a WGS lecturer and Psychology preceptor who teaches Psychology of the Gendered Body in WGS. Previous Star Prize winners from WGS include Durba Mitra (2020) and Caroline Light (2014).
