WGS Professor Linda Schlossberg Shortlisted for 2024 Granum Prize
WGS Professor Linda Schlossberg has been shortlisted for the 2024 Granum Prize.
From the Granum Foundation's website:
The Granum Foundation Prize was established to help U.S.-based writers complete substantive literary works and to help launch these works. Funding is meant to provide a writer with the tools, time, and freedom to help ensure their success.
This year, we received more than 1,550 applications, highlighting the number of talented writers from around the country and the extraordinary range of projects in development. The longlist represents roughly the top 4.5% of entries from all genres. It showcases writers of essay collections, science-fiction, poetry, historical fiction, fantasy, literary fiction, memoirs, young adult fiction, biographies, mixed media work, and more.
The short list will be announced later this month, and the winner and finalists will be announced in November. A short list and finalists for the Granum Foundation Translation Prize also will be announced soon. Applications for our next round of prizes are expected to open in May 2025.
