Iqra Saleem Khan

Departmental Writing Fellow
Iqra Khan

Hi, I'm Iqra! I am a doctoral student (S.J.D.) at Harvard Law School and my work focuses on the distributive analysis of Muslim family law reforms in postcolonial South Asia. As a feminist legal scholar, my research seeks to unveil the detrimental impact of so-called progressive legislation on women's rights and freedoms within the family. As your Writing Fellow, I am here to provide advice and writing support for departmental coursework, thesising, assignments, and even independent projects. We can meet in-person or online (Zoom) and have a conversation about your work in all its stages!

My office hours are Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and you can sign up for a 30-minute slot here. You can also email me at ikhan@sjd.law.harvard.edu to schedule a 15/30/45 appointment if there are scheduling conflicts with my office hours.
