Interdisciplinary Gender Studies -- Grad Student Panel Discussion

The Graduate Gender and Sexuality Workshop is resuming after a year's hiatus during the pandemic and will meet for the first time this year in person on December 1st at 4 PM in Sever 112!

WGS faculty Sarah Richardson and Robert Reid-Pharr will attend for a panel discussion on "Interdisciplinary Gender Studies." Topics will include professional practice, research, collaboration, and publishing in gender studies and other fields, followed by an open Q&A. All are welcome, individually packaged snacks to take home will be provided. 

Sarah S. Richardson is Professor of the History of Science and of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University. Her most recent book is The Maternal Imprint The Contested Science of Maternal-Fetal Effects (University of Chicago, 2021).

Robert F. Reid-Pharr is Chair of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality and Professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard University. His books include Once You Go Black: Choice, Desire, and the Black American Intellectual (New York University Press, 2007) and Archives of Flesh: African America, Spain, and Post Humanist Critique, (New York University Press, 2016).
