Roz Kaveney is a London-based poet, novelist, cultural commentator and occasional activist who works as a reviewer and in publishing. Her writings have appeared widely since the 1980s, when she was a core member of the now-famed Midnight Rose Collective. A regular writer for the Guardian and the Times Literary Supplement (among others) she is probably best known as editor of Reading The Vampire Slayer: The Complete, Unofficial Guide to Buffy and Angel (2001, 2004) and for her Lambda Award-winning novel of trans street life in 1970s Chicago, Tiny Pieces of Skull (2015).
