Linda Schlossberg Receives Writing Fellowship

WGS Professor Linda Schlossberg was awarded a 2019 Literary Arts Fellowship from the Somerville Arts Council/Massachusetts Cultural Council for her excellence in fiction. Mass Cultural Council's Artist Fellowships "recognize exceptional work by Massachusetts artists across a range of disciplines. These highly competitive awards provide artists crucial validation among their peers and the public. They catalyze artistic advancement and pave the way for creative innovation of enduring cultural value."

Schlossberg is the author of the novel Life in Miniature, and her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including McSweeney’sConduit, and Post Road. Schlossberg was the recipient of the Writer's Center 2016 Emerging Writer Fellowship and is currently completing a feminist dystopian novel.
