Dissertation Topic:
Examining the relationship between Black theology and Black literature from the post-war period through the late 1980s with special attention to theoretical articulations of Blackness, on one hand, and critical-theoretical discourses of freedom, such as abolition, emancipation, and liberation, on the other.
